Is the town of Bardolino
Lake Garda, a Wine Capital?

Bardolino Lake Garda's known red wine, is appreciated all over the World and it is produced in the vineyards on the surrounding hills. It has its name from the small town of Bardolino, located on the south eastern shores of Lake Garda.

The wine production comes from the Bardolino Classico region, the local Area between Bardolino, Affi, Garda, Costermano, Lazise and Cavaion Veronese.

Bardolino is an attractive place for a holiday. It has ancient origins, picturesque pastel-coloured buildings and a lovely position on the lakeside.

It has a bustling piazza and medieval centre, many shops, bars and restaurants are open until midnight, a good opportunity for shopping and strolling after a fantastic dinner.

There are also a couple of museums devoted to wine and olive oil.Apart of the many vineyards and olive groves, it is a holiday resort that has something for all tastes, close to some of Italy's major family attractions like Gardaland and Movieland.

Located on a south-east position, where the lake widens out with an even more Mediterranean appearance, Bardolino is one of the most appealing towns of Lake Garda, and it offers a mild climate with inviting beaches.

There are many opportunities for an active and sporting holiday as well as the opportunity to taste its local famous wine and the extra virgin olive oil, plus enjoying a lively nightlife.

Bardolino gives the charm of the old town and lakeside walks as well as the chance to discover the hills and their views over the whole lake.
