Lake Garda northern Town
Riva Lake Garda's one of the most spectacular spots, is located at the north-western corner of the Lake and it is one of its largest Towns.
Riva del Garda (italian) is a charming town with cobbled streets and medieval towers. Average winters are moderately cold, sunny and with some snow; summers are warm but rarely hot or sultry, with windy afternoons and scattered PM-night thunderstorms.
Tourism is the most important activity of the town, a lot of water sports take place here. With its two harbours Riva del Garda is well equipped for sailing and windsurfing. Rock climbing is also practised, and Basketball is also very popular.
