RIVA
Lake Garda northern Town

Riva Lake Garda's one of the most spectacular spots, is located at the north-western corner of the Lake and it is one of its largest Towns.

Riva del Garda (italian) is a charming town with cobbled streets and medieval towers. Average winters are moderately cold, sunny and with some snow; summers are warm but rarely hot or sultry, with windy afternoons and scattered PM-night thunderstorms.

Protected by an imposing barrier of mountains, Riva del Garda is developed near Mount Brione, which separates it from the estuary of the River Sarca and Torbole. In this Mediterranean Oasis, where olive trees and palm trees grow prosperous, tourists can enjoy the pleasure of a holiday with much history, art, sports and nature.

Famous for its climate, the landscape, with the unique natural charm of the spacious and sunny beaches, Riva del Garda is a meeting point for fans of many sports: sailing, windsurfing, climbing, mountain biking and hiking. Rock climbing is also practised, and Basketball is also very popular.

Tourism is the most important activity of the town, a lot of water sports take place here. With its two harbours Riva del Garda is well equipped for sailing.

The old centre of Riva del Garda will fascinate you with its works of art and architecture, witnessing to ancient history and a past rich in art and culture.

The hotels offer you top comfort and innovation together with warm, familiar hospitality and characteristic restaurants.
